Greece players suffer minor injuries in fatal car crash

Verona’s Panagiotis Tachtsidis and Vangelis Moras as well Giannis Fetfatzidis of Chievo have been involved in a car crash.

The three Greek internationals were travelling by taxi to Budapest Airport in Hungary, following a Euro 2016 qualifier.
One person was killed in the collision, but the Greek Federation has released a statement confirming that the three players were not seriously injured.
Three other people were seriously injured in the crash, and are being monitored in hospital.
Tachtsidis, Moras and Fetfatzidis are expected to be released later today after receiving treatment for minor injuries.
"All three are in good health, contrary to reports claiming serious injuries," the Hellenic Football Federation EPO said in a statement.
"National Team officials have been in constant contact with them since early in the morning...more details will be announced within days."
