The news outlet reports that although Benitez will meet with De Laurentiis in the coming weeks, the relationship between the two has become frosty, and the former’s departure is all-but inevitable.

Former Roma Coach Luciano Spalletti is seen as the favourite to replace him, as he is without a club after being let go by Zenit St Petersburg.
