Jose Mourinho: I wanted Frank Lampard at Inter Milan

The Portuguese enjoyed a hugely successful two years as Nerazzurri coach, winning two Scudetti and achieving an historic treble in 2010, and the Chelsea manager reveals he tried to bring Lampard to San Siro. “I have another disappointment,” Mourinho told journalists in a Press conference, discussing his failure to lure Steven Gerrard to Chelsea. “[That is] when I was trying [to bring] Lampard to Inter. And it was almost, almost, almost [there] but [that] also didn’t happen. “I’ve had a couple of disappointments and that’s normal in the football market.”
