‘Laporta could take Paul Pogba to Barça’

The Blaugrana are in the midst of a Presidential campaign, with Laporta promising to bring the Frenchman to Catalonia if he wins.

The Bianconeri have rejected an €80m bid for the player, but his representative insists all is not what it seems, and his client could end up at Camp Nou.

“If Laporta wins the Barcelona Presidential election, there’d be a high chance of Pogba ending up at Barcelona,” Raiola told EFE.

“I know [head of the football sector] Albert Soler. The trip [by Barcelona] to Turin seemed like a political move, specially designed to take a picture.

“It was very strange, but it’s all nonsense as Paul and I were not in Turin. First Barcelona will have to negotiate with me, then with Juventus, but they can do so.”
