Manchester United 'to offer £18.5m for De Vrij'

Manchester United are preparing a €25m (£18.5m) offer for Lazio full-back Stefan De Vrij, according to reports.

The 23-year-old joined the Aquile from Feyenoord this summer, and has impressed as Stefano Pioli’s men have risen to third in Serie A.
According to Leggo, Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United are preparing to test the Biancocelesti’s resolve with a bid of €25m.
De Vrij was part of Van Gaal’s Netherlands squad for the 2014 World Cup, scoring in the 5-1 win over Spain in the group stage.
However, the newspaper believes Lazio will look to hang on to their man, who is contracted until 2018.
