There are reports that Milan no longer consider Stephan El Shaarawy unsellable, with a swap deal for Ciro Immobile mooted. The 22-year-old striker was rated as one of the hottest properties in Europe after hitting 16 Serie A goals in the 2012-13 campaign, but spent most of last season injured, making just eight appearances. Despite those injury worries seeming to be behind him, the Italian international has struggled so far this term, scoring just one goal in 11 League appearances for the Rossoneri. That has led to speculation that The Pharaoh could be considered a saleable asset by the Milanese giants for the first time, with Borussia Dortmund reportedly interested in bringing the striker to Germany. Both Calciomercato and Corriere della Sera believe that the Bundesliga side are interested, with the former suggesting that Ciro Immobile could be included as part of any deal. The former Torino striker was Capocannoniere in Serie A last season, but has struggled since making a €19m move to Westfalenstadion. The 24-year-old has made just four Bundesliga starts for Jurgen Klopp’s men, scoring twice, although he does have four goals in five Champions League games. Calciomercato reports that a deal is not feasible for January, but a summer transfer is a distinct possibility. According to Corriere della Sera, representatives from Dortmund have already met with El Shaarawy’s agent, with the player seeking guarantees that he would be a key figure at BVB.
