Report: Ravel Morrison flies back to UK after being left out again by Lazio

Ravel Morrison has left Lazio's training ground and flown back to England for personal reasons, according to a report in Italy, after he was left out of the Lazio squad again.

The Biancocelesti face Dnipro in the Europa League this evening, the only competition in which the Englishman has been handed a start so far this season.

Calciomercato.it reported on Thursday that coach Stefano Pioli had decided to leave out the 22-year-old - and that Morrison then left the club’s Formello training ground to fly back to England, citing "personal reasons".

The website believes that the attacking midfielder will soon leave the capital club for good, due to his limited playing time and a distant relationship with Pioli.

There have been rumours of Morrison’s departure since August, when he was first reported to have asked to leave - despite having only arrived two months earlier.

In total, Morrison has played only 135 minutes in all competitions for the Aquile since his summer arrival as a free agent.
