Totti doubt for Rome derby

The 35-year-old midfielder strained a thigh muscle during Saturday's 3-1 win over Atalanta, and is a doubt for the clash with the Giallorossi's local rivals on October 16.

Totti scored both goals in a 2-0 win the last time these two sides met back in March.

A statement from Roma read: "Francesco Totti underwent a scan which revealed a muscular injury in his right thigh. The player's condition will be evaluated in the next few days."

The two clubs, who share residence at the Stadio Olimpico in the Italian capital, are level on eight point in Serie A after five games.
