The Giallorossi are in dreadful form and the director has been criticised for his transfer dealings, bringing in Victor Ibarbo and Seydou Keita who have had negligible impact.

Roma's sporting director Walter Sabatini will leave the club at the end of the season, if reports this morning are to be believed.

Sabatini admitted yesterday that he had made mistakes, expressing his regret after failing to sign Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian joined Fiorentina, and was one of their key players as they demolished the Giallorossi 3-0 last night.

Now Il Messaggero reports that Sabatini will walk away at the end of the season, though he could even go sooner if Rudi Garcia’s side drop out of the Champions League places.
