The daughter of Inter Milan's sacked assistant boss has launched into a furious attack on Roberto Mancini for the manner in which he fired her father.

When Mancini replaced Walter Mazzarri on Friday, one of his first decisions was to take former Nerazzurri player Giuseppe Baresi off the staff.
Baresi had been assistant manager to every Inter coach since 2008, and before then was working in the youth academy.
According to Regina Baresi, her father was fired via a phone call with director of sport Piero Ausilio, with Mancini not even speaking directly to Beppe.
She was not amused.
“Mancini should have said it to his face, but he didn’t even have the courage to sack my father while looking him in the eyes,” Regina Baresi told magazine Chi.
“After more than 30 years at the club, he deserved more respect. I put myself in his shoes. To think from morning to night you suddenly find yourself without a job. It makes me cry.”
Regina had sent a Tweet welcoming Mancini back to Inter, but an hour later posted another message on the social network. “Welcome back like hell! It’s incredible how everything can change in a moment.”
She then hinted that her father may have been fired because he did not rate Mancini's sons when they were at Inter's academy.
“I don’t know why he was fired. Having finished his career as a player, he covered many roles at Inter. Before working as assistant manager to Mourinho, Leonardo, Rafa Benitez, Claudio Ranieri, Andrea Stramaccioni and Mazzarri, he worked in the youth academy.
“He even got to coach Mancini’s children and if I remember right he didn’t think they were very good. Who knows if that had something to do with it...."
Mancini's sons, both forwards, have not had particularly illustrious careers - Filippo, 24, was released both by Inter and Manchester City after his father's sackings, and is still without a club; Andrea, 22, also followed his father to Inter and City but is currently at Hungarian side Honved.
However, Mancini's decision to dispense with Baresi could have something to do with his preference towards working with David Platt. The former England midfielder is fluent in Italian - having played for Bari, Juventus and Sampdoria - and currently without a club since leaving Manchester City.
Regina, meanwhile, said her father was devastated, having all but two years of his professional life at Inter.
“My father has closed himself in his home, in silence. I can see he is upset, but he is too attached to the club to criticise Inter. I know he spoke to Moratti, as they were always in synch.
“If I saw Mancini, I would not shake his hand. He showed a total lack of respect to my father. He should have sacked him to his face and said why he didn’t want him anymore.”
