A goal by Paulo Dybala was all that separated Juventus and AS Roma on Sunday, but the Old Lady were perfectly happy with how things played out. The 1-0 win marked Juventus' 11th consecutive win in the league and keeps them on the heels of first place Napoli, whose lead atop Serie A is only two points.
The Roma attacked has been weakened some under Luciano Spalletti, who has tried to fix a leaky defence since taking over as manager, but even so, Juventus' ability to take the bite out of the team from Italy's capital was plenty impressive. The Old Lady dominated possession and were rarely threatened.
For all of Juventus' dominance through the centre of the park, they couldn't find a way through for much of the match. Roma did well to defend, while Wojciech Szczesney was sharp in goal and the home side also proved wasteful more often than they would have liked.
Juventus' breakthrough came 13 minutes from time as Paul Pogba drew the defence before slipping a ball in for Dybala. The striker finished expertly, and Juventus had themselves yet another win.
