The Ivorian is in his debut Serie A season, but has already been nicknamed ‘The New Yaya Touré.’
Still only 19, Kessié has been a revelation this term, scoring four goals in five Serie A appearances, plus one in a lone Coppa Italia match.
Juventus, Inter and Roma are among those interested on Italian soil, but Manchester United and Manchester City are linked too.
Amid reports Juve are ready to offer €10m to lock Kessié down in January, the Daily Mirror suggests Arsenal and Chelsea are making strong steps forward to get there first.
Scouts from the two Premier League giants were at Atalanta games in recent weeks and a bidding war is due to erupt.
