Inter Milan have responded to criticism from Juventus in the wake of their controversial Serie A clash, releasing a statement which concluded "we all have a past, we have ours and we're proud of it".

Inter were incensed by the refereeing during their 1-0 defeat on Sunday, with Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi slapped with two-game bans for their protests.
The Old Lady’s general manager Giuseppe Marotta later accused Inter of having a "culture of alibis" - something Inter have refuted in an official statement.
"Inter finds it hard to understand why Juventus keeps talking about us when our focus has never been on them," it read.
"We have, politely and through the appropriate channels, sought to discuss what we feel were debatable refereeing decisions in a match that was important not only to us, but also to the whole of Serie A.
"Now we are thinking only about the future, without forgetting that we played well in Turin despite the final result.

"The fact that various people have decided to comment on us suggests they are worried about us.
"We all have a past. We have ours and we're proud of it."
Perisic was sent off in second-half stoppage time for dissent, while Icardi appeared to kick the ball at the referee following the full-time whistle.
Inter are fifth in the Serie A table, 15 points adrift of leaders Juve.
