Walter Sabatini could be set for Chelsea job after Roma exit

Ex-Roma director of sport Walter Sabatini is being called to Chelsea by Antonio Conte, according to the Corriere dello Sport.

The chain-smoking transfer guru resigned from his post at Roma last week after months of hinting he was ready to walk away.
He disagreed with Giallorossi President James Pallotta on strategy and became increasingly frustrated at having to sell top players like Erik Lamela.
Today’s edition of the Corriere dello Sport newspaper suggests Sabatini is close to taking on a new job in London with Chelsea.
Conte is said to be pushing hard for Sabatini to join him at Stamford Bridge and transform the way they do business.
