After eight years with Barcelona - where he won six La Liga titles and three Champions Leagues amongst other trophies - Alves left on a free in the summer of 2016 to join Juventus.
During his first season with the club he won the domestic double but there has been speculation that he might move on, with the Premier League mentioned as a possible destination after rumours of interest last year.

Alves admitted in a TV interview that he had received offers from England and one day he would like to test himself there.
"Last year I turned down many offers from the Premier League because I felt I had to go to Serie A," Alves told Esporte Interativo.
"There is a great defensive culture, and to go and play in England you have to know how to defend well. I hope that one day I will go there."
When asked if that could happen Alves said: "Who knows? We'll see."

He also discussed the future of Dybala, with the young forward repeatedly linked with a move to Alves' former club Barcelona.
"We have talked and I told him that one day he will have to leave to improve.
"He is a jewel that will blossom. We talked so many times about it and I said one day, I don't know when, that he will have to leave Juventus if he is to improve even more."
