Falkirk would have qualified for the Europa League if they had won the William Hill Scottish Cup but, with Inverness having already sealed their place through the league, the third Scottish place goes to St Johnstone, who finished fourth in the Scottish Premiership.
Saints captain Dave Mackay wrote on Twitter: " Delighted that's us in Europe for the 4th season in a row. Well done to Inverness I hope you all enjoy it as much as we did last year."
St Johnstone and Premiership runners-up Aberdeen begin their campaigns on July 2 with Inverness entering the competition at the second qualifying round two weeks later.
