Luis joined the Blues for £15.8million from Atletico Madrid last July but has found himself on the fringes in his first campaign, making just seven starts in the Barclays Premier League.
Mourinho appears to favour the right-footed Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back, but Luis insists he is happy at Stamford Bridge and wants to see out his three-year contract.
"I'm happy at Chelsea. I want to stay at the club until the end of my contract," the 29-year-old said.
"We have a chance to win the Premier League. Everyone wants to be there to try to help the team to win the league."
Chelsea are currently six points clear at the top of the table with one game in hand over second-placed Manchester City.
A home game against Stoke on Saturday, however, comes before a tough run that includes a derby visit to QPR and consecutive clashes against Manchester United and Arsenal.
"Is the title race over? No. It's really difficult. We have nine games - really difficult games," Luis said.
"The Premier League is never easy. We have to be better than ever because these games are coming up with a lot of pressure, but I think we're prepared to cope with the hard situation we have."
Luis added: "He (Mourinho) always says that to us - he has never said anything else.
"He always asked for everybody to be focused and concentrated in the games and to try to win every match we have."
