Joe Hart should stay at Manchester City and develop his game under Pep Guardiola, according to former Valencia manager and England assistant coach Gary Neville.

Hart was dropped for Guardiola’s first Premier League game of the season, with Willy Caballero picked in goal for City’s 2-1 win over Sunderland on Saturday.
The decision has led to speculation over the England goalkeeper’s future at the Etihad, but Neville believes that Hart would do well to learn under the new manager and not “throw his toys out of the pram”.
"My advice to Joe Hart would be to stay exactly where he is," Neville said on his return as a television pundit for Sky Sports, saying that Hart should look at Manuel Neuer for an example of what Guardiola can do for a goalkeeper's career.
"Guardiola's obsession is to play out from the back and it's not the strongest part of Hart's game … but I would say for a year or two, he should stay.
"I think he should get his head down, and I think he has ten years left at the top of the game.
"Whatever happens he should transform his game under Guardiola because I think Pep might be able to find a player who is better with his feet, but for attitude, for working hard, Joe Hart should stay."

Neville also revealed that one of the biggest things he took away from his time as a coach with Valencia was the different way that goalkeepers trained in Spain compared to England.
“In Spain it’s completely different,” Neville revealed. “The goalkeepers and goalkeeping coaches train with the outfield players, they always come out in the rondo.”
