England continued their 100% winning start to the 2017 European Under-21 Championship qualifying campaign with a 3-0 win over Kazakhstan at the Ricoh Arena.
The hosts were by far the better side throughout but had to wait until the 53rd minute to open the scoring.
Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek fired an unstoppable left-footed effort into the top corner following a knockdown from Tottenham’s Eric Dier from a set-piece.
England doubled their lead when goalkeeper Jordan Pickford set Norwich flyer Nathan Redmond free with a long clearance with 69 minutes gone.
Redmond sprinted clear of his man before cutting in from the right and firing a well-struck effort past Stanislav Pavlov in the Kazakhstan goal.
Debutant Chuba Akpom put gloss on an already polished performance when he finished off another lightning quick break to make it three in added time.
England next face bottom-placed Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo on November 12.
