Jodie Taylor's clinical second-half finish gave England a 1-0 victory over France and secured the Lionesses' place in the semi-finals of the Women's Euro 2017.
England and France played out a goalless first half with few chances for either side. Delie had the best chance of the half - dragging a shot wide of the far post after springing an offside trap - but neither side found their way through.
There had been sparring talk between Mark Sampson and Olivier Echuoafni, and Jill Scott reflected some of the bad temper when she was booked for a first-half foul.
In the second half, Taylor finished off a break with an excellent finish, scoring her fifth of the tournament, to give England a deserved lead.
France ramped up the pressure, forcing a quick succession of chances, but England reorganised after a quick but worrying wobble and held on to set up a semi-final with the Netherlands.

TALKING POINT

England need to stamp out defensive wobbles: As the tournament progresses, there are fewer chances to make mistakes before they are punished. England were at their most vulnerable in the five minutes after they took the lead. A side less profligate than France will punish them for similar behaviour.

WOMAN OF THE MATCH

Jodie Taylor (England): Taylor had little of note to do for the first hour. Chasing long balls and bothering central defenders was done dutifully, but she sparked into life when she was presented with the only real chance of the game. Her finish across the 'keeper secured victory for her team, and showed how vital she could be for the rest of the tournament.

21' - BRIGHT HEADER - Bright runs off to the far post to meet a set piece, and she heads down firmly to send an effort just wide of the bottom corner.
60' - GOAL! England 1-0 France. Taylor scores - Bronze breaks down the middle, and just as she's about to be closed down, she measures a pass right for Taylor, and she drills a shot past the 'keeper.
63' - BRONZE CLEARANCE - A corner from the left from Abily, and England struggle to get it clear. It comes out to Diani, and Bronze has to head it off the line.
64' - BARDSLEY SAVE - Bardsley fail to get to a cross, England can't get rid of it with some failed clearances, and Delie then fires in at the near post, where Bardsley makes a far better attempt at a save.
90+5' - CHAMBERLAIN SAVE - Le Bihan meets a cross from the right, heads down towards goal, but Chamberlain is on hand to stop it with a minute remaining.
