Wales have finished fifth at the Istria Women's Cup after beating hosts Croatia in a penalty shoot-out.
New manager Jayne Ludlow's side fell behind in the fifth/sixth placement match in Porec when Maja Joscak struck four minutes before half-time.
But Bristol Academy midfielder Angharad James levelled after 68 minutes to force a shoot-out.
Wales won 4-2 on penalties after Helen Ward, Sarah Wiltshire, Emily Hollinshead and Helen Bleazard all converted from the spot.
The Dragonnesses had earlier lost to France, drawn with Bosnia-Herzegovina and beaten Costa Rica in the group stages of the 12-team tournament.
