The champions of England took on the champions for Spain in Stockholm on Wednesday, and it was an exhibition of football.
Both teams put out strong-looking sides, with Barcelona starting both Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi, and Leicester giving Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy a run out.
Barcelona put in an imperious first-half display with Munir El Haddadi getting a goal either side of a Luis Suarez strike.
Messi split the Foxes’ defence with 26 minutes gone for Munir to slot home.
Suarez then wriggled past a couple of defenders before slotting home with 34 minutes on the clock.
The Uruguayan then turned provider for Munir on the cusp of half-time, as he clipped a ball over the Leicester defence for Spain international to make it three.
Ahmed Musa emerged from the bench at half-time to grab a brace and cut the arrears to 3-2.
The Nigerian international’s first was a fine individual effort.
He then fired home after good work from Jeffrey Schlupp 67 minutes gone to make it 3-2.
Yet Barcelona again showed their class as Rafa Mujica made it four with a powerful finish.
The game finished 4-2 to Barcelona.
