England stick with Joe Hart as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain starts against Malta

Hart has been under fire in recent weeks and many called for the West Ham goalkeeper to be dropped following his poor start to the season but England boss Gareth Southgate has remained loyal.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also starts his first game since completing a £35m move from Arsenal to Liverpool, with Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling on the other wing.

Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Dele Alli also start as England look to continue their unbeaten run in World Cup qualifying for Russia 2018 against minnows Malta, who have lost every group game of the campaign so far.
