FT: Portugal 3-0 Hungary. Ronaldo's brace and Silva's opener ease the European champions to a comfortable win. They move to within three points of top spot and consolidate second.

Plenty of positives for the hosts. Another milestone for CR and another goal for the young pretender in Silva.
Portugal will move back to within three points of leaders Switzerland with clear breathing space between them and Hungary in third.

Quaresma tricks his way to the left byline. He crosses to the far post.. Ronaldo picks it up and scoops it back into the middle. It's hacked clear. Portugal enjoying themselves... Hungary just want this over.

Guerreiro with another fine delivery into the box, but the home side can't make anything of it. You sense Portugal could be in for more goals here despite Hungary's improvement in this half.
Ronaldo weaves in from the left but sees his piledriver deflect wide.
Quaresma skips into the left of the area and teases in a low ball towards Silva at the far post - but it's well read and hacked clear on the stretch.
Joao Mario tries his luck from 25 yards but doesn't find the curl he needed.
Quaresma aims a right-wing cross towards Ronaldo, but Gulacsi reads it and comes off his line to pluck the ball out of the air.

Hungary have changed shape slightly and have come out with a positive attitude. The visitors are probing, but Bese's cross from the right is too close to Patricio.
Looks like Portugal have found a real goalscorer. It was so often the Achilles heel of some of their fine sides of recent years.

KICK OFF! Hungary get us back underway.

HT: Portugal 2-0 Hungary. The European champions look on course for the three points after two goals in four minutes turned the match in their favour. Silva and Ronaldo on target.
Silva lets fly from long range, but it's well wide.
Portugal enjoying themselves now. Important for Hungary to stay strong late in this half. A third for the hosts will be curtains.
João Mário dinks a pass into the box for Ronaldo who improvises with an overhead kick that doesn't really trouble the keeper.
Andre Gomes turns his man and fizzes in a cross from the right that Gulacsi is forced to fist to safety.
It's going to be an uphill task for Hungary now. The gameplan was working well, but a two-goal blast in four minutes has pumped up the Lison crowd.
Goal number 69 for his country. Not bad at all.

GOAL! It's two! Ronaldo rifles a low drive into the bottom corner from 18 yards after a lovely flick into his path from Silva.
Suddenly there is a real zest to Portugal's play. That goal came at a key point as the crowd were becoming restless.
That is Silva's fifth goal in six games for Portugal.

GOAL! Andre Silva taps home at the far post after Guerreiro had put it on a plate for him with a lovely low ball in from the left. Ronaldo had opened up the defence with a probing run and pass to the flank.
Fonte misses a deep left-wing cross to the far post, but Szalai's volley from a tight angle flies way over the top.
Ronaldo tries to change that with a quick shuffle of his magical feet, but his drive from long range is well blocked.
A few whistles as Hungary pop it about in the midfield. Portugal guilty of stepping up a gear and then dropping back a bit.
This match was hyped up given the 3-3 draw at the Euros last summer. It's not come close so far, but still plenty of time for a spark to ignite.
Ádám Nagy makes a nuisance of himself on the left of the Portugal box, but his cross deflects back onto him and out of play. Unlucky.
Ronaldo walks off a bit bemused. He expects to score that type of chance. Goal number eight in qualifying will have to wait...
CLOSE! Quaresma somehow finds Ronaldo with a deflected cross to the far post, but the forward's header flies wide.
Cedric a bit winded after taking the full force of that shot. He'll be OK to continue though.
Ádám Szalai leads the charge for Hungary following the Portugal corner. He lets fly from 30 yards but sees his shot blocked by Cedric.
Quaresma slaloms down the left. He weaves into the box but sees his cross towards Ronaldo diverted behind.
A lovely move sees the home side press down the left. Raphael Guerreiro jinks inside the full back, but can't dig out the cross as Balázs Dzsudzsák works hard to block on the cover.
Adam Gyurcsó chases a hopeful punt over the top, but it's too close to Patricio.
Ronaldo's free kick clips the wall and flies harmlessly wide. The resulting corner is fired too close to Gulacsi who easily gathers.

Vinicius is very slow and late with his challenge as Silva slalmoed past him. It's a talking to from the ref for the new Hungary defender.
Quaresma seeks out Ronaldo's dash, but overcook the pass.
Cedric races towards a looping, loose ball on the edge of the box but sees his long-range header easily gobbled vup by Gulacsi.
Portugal beginning to warm to the occasion. Hungary dropping deeper.
Hungary will be happy if those are the areas Ronaldo is forced to operate in this evening. CR will see it as an early sighter...
First sight of Ronaldo. The Real Madrid man jinks in from the left and flashes well wide from 30 yards.
Bernd Storck will be content with how his side have kept possession so far. Ronaldo a bit isolated at present.
Zoltan Gera rolling back the years in the midfield early doors. Some neat touches as Hungary look to keep the hosts from making a fast start.
Paulo Vinicius is making his debut in central defence for Hungary this evening. The visitors are missing some key personnel and the European champions will be keen to exploit any weakness.

Ronaldo and his teammates have looked rather relaxed in the lead up to this match. Perhaps it has something to do with Portugal having never lost in 11 previous meetings with Hungary....
Ronaldo is Portugal's all-time leading scorer, notching 68 times in 136 appearances.
But Portugal hit back on each occasion with Ronaldo also netting a brace.
LAST TIME: The sides played out an enthralling 3-3 draw at Euro 2016 last summer. Hungary led three times with Balázs Dzsudzsák hitting a double...
West Ham centre back Jose Fonte has featured in all of Portugal's qualifiers to-date. He told the Hammers' website: "I look forward to it, obviously. It’s always an honour to play for your country. It will be good to see the boys and to be with them, but I want to succeed here. I want to win here."

Portugal lost their opening game of Group B to leaders Switzerland but have won the last three, netting 16 times and conceding once. Hungary have won their last two in qualifying after opening with a drew in the Faroe Islands and a 3-2 home reversal to the Swiss.
As it stands, the Swiss are six points clear of Portugal at the top of Group B having played a game more. Hungary are eight adrift of the summit, which means that the side who fails to produce the goods tonight will suffer a major blow to their World Cup hopes.
Leaders Switzerland have just beaten Latvia 1-0 to make it five straight wins in this qualifying pool. Borussia Mönchengladbach's Josip Drmic got the winner on 66 minutes.
