Zak Ansah back with Newport

Charlton striker Zak Ansah has re-joined Newport on a two-month loan deal.

Ansah joined the Exiles on loan in August and made five appearances before his deal expired, last featuring for the club in a 0-0 draw against Dagenham in September.

The former Arsenal trainee worked with Newport boss John Sheridan at Plymouth last season, playing 10 matches and scoring twice.

"When he played last season he was really effective and I am very pleased we have got him here. I know a lot a lot about him," Sheridan told the club's website.

The 21-year-old will be available for Saturday's Sky Bet League Two fixture at Mansfield, subject to international clearance.

He will also be available for cup competitions, including the first round of the FA Cup in November.
