Lewis Hamilton continued his hectic lifestyle away from the Formula One circuit with a bumpy ride in a dune buggy.

The Brit, who wrapped up his third drivers’ title last month, uploaded footage to Instagram which showed him messing about on the undulating sand.

Hamilton crashed his Pagani Zonda in Monaco prior to the recent Brazilian Grand Prix, with the 30-year-old admitting that heavy partying and little rest were partly to blame.

However, his preparation for the season-ending Abu Dhabi GP was more advised – with Hamilton enjoying himself during the Mercedes event for Petronas employees on the dunes.
