France's Anthony Benna claimed only the second World Cup victory of his career by winning the dual moguls at Deer Valley.
The 2015 mogul world champion dominated Finland's Jimi Salonen in a one-sided final while Kazakhstan's Dmitriy Reiherd defeated compatriot Pavel Kolmakov to come third.
Top of the World Cup standings is Canada’s Mikael Kingsbury despite his fifth-place finish at Deer Valley.
On the women’s side Canada’s Justine Dufour-Lapointe claimed her third win of the season to strengthen her lead on top of the World Cup standings.
Dufour-Lapointe came in to the event as the defending champion and retained her crown by beating Kazakhstan's Yulia Galysheva in the final.
"I felt good when I woke up this morning and I knew what I had to do to perform well out there," said the Montreal native.
"I concentrated on my skiing without looking at my rivals to not get distracted. I skied for myself and I really had the feeling that I dominated the course. I adapted my skiing to be consistent and opted for fast but clean runs. I am really proud of the way I skied."
Two Americans squared off for third place, with Jaelin Kauf defeating Mikaela Matthews to claim the final podium spot.
