Olympic champion Jean-Frederic Chapuis made sure to end the ski cross World Cup season on a high by claiming victory in front of his home fans in Megeve.
Chapuis, silver medallist at this year's World Championships, had already wrapped up the World Cup ski cross title coming into the closing stages of the season.
But while he was third in Friday's competition, the 26-year-old stepped it up one final time on Saturday with his fourth victory of the season.
The Frenchman crossed the line first in the big final, edging out Canada's Brady Leman and Germany's Paul Eckert while fellow Frenchman Bastien Midol just missed out on the medals in fourth.
The result means Chapuis finishes the season on 747 points, 194 clear of Sweden's Victor Oehling Norberg in second.
Meanwhile in the women's competition, it was also a winning end for World Cup champion Anna Holmlund of Sweden.
The Olympic bronze medallist wrapped up her third consecutive World Cup victory as she beat Austrian silver medallist Andrea Limbacher and third-placed Ophelie David of France in the big final.
The victory – her fourth of the season – takes Holmlund onto 815 points for the season, with France's Alizee Baron second on 573.
