Defending champion Sergio Garcia headlines a list of four Ryder Cup winners to be competing in the Lancôme Trophy near Paris on Thursday. Winning captain Sam Torrance and his deputy Ian Woosnam are also battling for one of the richest prizes of the European Tour.

Along with Garcia, Colin Montgomerie, Paul McGinley, and Thomas Björn will be gracing the clubhouse of the Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche after their recent success over the United States at the Belfry.
The 33rd edition of the Lancôme also features past Ryder Cup winners Nick Faldo and Sandy Lyle. Among the younger generation of golfers expected are Justin Rose, Adam Scott, and American teenage sensation Ty Tryon.
French hopes will pinned on the shoulders of European Tour 13th ranked Thomas Levet.
