Russian Time driver Artem Markelov has lost his point for finishing in eighth place in the GP2 sprint race at the Red Bull Ring.
The 20-year-old ran second during the first half of the race before going off while attempting to take the lead from Rio Haryanto, meaning he dropped back and took the chequered flag in the final points position.

But in post-race scrutineering, it was found that his fuel tank had less than the mandatory one litre of fuel required to give a fuel sample, meaning he was disqualified.
His exclusion means that Alexander Rossi picks up the final point in the race, closing the gap to points leader Stoffel Vandoorne from 77 to 76 points.
