The highlight for the pair came in the featured IPIC Trophy with close fought victory for Bochard.
Fifteen runners went to post for the race over a distance of 1600 metres and Mullen and Bochart made their intentions clear by heading to the front in the early stages. They were tracked by Pat Dobbs on Active Spirit and the pair crossed the line in that order as both horses fought out a thrilling duel throughout the entire home straight; Bochart taking the decision by a neck.
The seven race card, the final meeting to be staged at Meydan before the Dubai World Cup on Saturday 25 March, featured seven races on the dirt track.
Earlier Mullen steered Secret Ambition to victory in the CEPSA, a 1400 metre handicap.
Having taken the lead after 200 metres, they were never headed and came in a length and three-quarters ahead of Prepared in second and Rocket Power in third.
Trainer and jockey celebrated the middle leg of their trio thanks to the success of Raven’s Corner in the Borealis, proving too good for his eight rivals.
In front early on in the 1200 metre handicap, Mullen was content to take a lead from Mutahaddith before committing for home early in the straight.
Once they were back in front, the race was over as a contest, as Raven’s Corner came in four and a half lengths ahead of Ajraam in second and Druids Ridge in third for a second success in three starts locally
South African Mike de Kock only had one runner on the card and Syncopation endured it was a winning one by the 1400 metre maiden, the Aabar Properties.
Soon tracking the speed under Sam Hitchcott, he was driven to the lead over 400 metres out and was soon clear before running on strongly.
They crossed the line five lengths clear of Expo Twenty in second and Omri in third, with Syncopation registering his first victory at the ninth attempt but only third locally and for De Kock.
Adrie de Vries was victorious in the second maiden on the card, the ADCOP, Al Taweel recorded a useful success.
Trained by Bahraini Fawzi Nass, it was a case of third time lucky for the winner who appreciated the step up in trip to the 2000 metre challenge, having run over 1400 and then 1200 metres on his two previous outings.
Al Taweel and de Vries crossed the line four lengths clear of Vivernus who had passed eventual third Tradesman early in the straight but had no answer to the winner who swept by 200 metres from home.
The longest race on the card was a 2200 metre handicap, the Nova, in which Maria Ritchie saddled her first Thoroughbred winner when Enery and Fernando Jara collared long-time leader, Darkening, halfway up the straight.
The concluding IPIC Handicap over 1600 metres was won in style by Street Act, who under Tadhg O’Shea came in two and a half lengths to the good for Ali Rashid Al Rayhi’s Grandstand Stable.
All focus now is centred towards the next racing at Meydan, the aforementioned Dubai World Cup on Saturday 25 March.
