Matt Read and Claude Giroux each scored in a shoot-out as the Philadelphia Flyers beat the New Jersey Devils 2-1.
Flyers 2, Devils 1 (SO)
Maxime Talbot scored a goal and Bryzgalov stopped 27 of 28 shots for Philadelphia at Wells Fargo Arena, after the Flyers had lost four of their last five games.
The win also snapped a seven-game winless streak against the Devils, dating back to last year's Stanley Cup play-offs.
Philadelphia picked up two points on the Winnipeg Jets for eighth place in the Eastern Conference play-off race. With 20 games to go the Flyers trail the idle Jets by 3 points, but the Winnipeg has a game in hand David Clarkson scored a goal and Johan Hedberg stopped 21 of 22 shots for New Jersey, which have lost three straight on the road.

Flames 6, Predators 3
Curtis Glencross netted a hat trick, all the goals in the third period, to help lead the Calgary Flames to a 6-3 victory over the Nashville Predators at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
The end result never seemed in doubt, but Glencross, who's leading the Flames in goals with 12 this season, broke the game wide open for good early in the third period and capped his night with an empty-netter, which sent the cowboy hats to the ice in his honour.
His first goal came on a lucky bounce. A rebound bounced off his leg and into the net 1:14 into the final period, putting Calgary in front 4-1. His second was a perfectly executed redirection of Lee Stempniak's cross-ice pass.
The Flames improved to 11-11-4 by winning their sixth straight home game.
The Predators fell to 11-11-6. They have just one victory in last nine road games, and they still have two more dates on their current five-game swing, Sunday in Edmonton and Tuesday in Columbus.
