Senators 3, Flyers 1
Ottawa right winger Mark Stone scored twice and goaltender Andrew Hammond stopped 34 shots as the Senators beat the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday and clinched a spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Center Jean-Gabriel Pageau added a goal as Ottawa completed their improbable run to the playoffs, clinching a spot on the season's final day.
As of Feb. 10, Ottawa was one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference, 14 points outside of the playoff race. Since then, the Senators have gone 23-4-4 to secure their place in the post-season.

Penguins 2, Sabres 0
Center Brandon Sutter scored twice as Pittsburgh qualified for the post-season for the ninth consecutive year.
Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury made 28 saves for his 10th shutout of the season.

Center David Desharnais scored the decisive goal in a shootout as the Canadiens clinched first place in the Atlantic Division.
The Canadiens entered the game needing only one point or a loss by the Tampa Bay Lightning to secure the division title.

Lightning 3, Bruins 2 (SO)
Boston tied the game with 1:06 left in regulation, but Tampa Bay won in a shootout, getting their 50th win.

Ducks 2, Coyotes 1
Anaheim got goals from center Ryan Getzlaf and right winger Jakob Silfverberg to wrap up the top seed in the West with a win over Phoenix.
The win gives the Ducks a staggering 33-1-7 record in one-goal games this season. The 33 wins in one-goal games is an NHL record, eclipsing the 2006-07 New Jersey Devils.
- - -
Blue Jackets 5, Islanders 4 (SO)
Centers Alexander Wennberg and right winger Cam Atkinson scored in the shootout as Columbus spoiled New York's final regular-season game at Nassau Coliseum.
The Blue Jackets' stunning win -- they were down 3-1 early in the third -- forces the Islanders to begin the playoffs at the Washington Capitals either on Wednesday or Thursday.
The Islanders would have hosted the Capitals with a win.
- - -
Rangers 4, Capitals 2
With a Presidents' Trophy already secured, the New York Rangers went into the game against Washington hoping to get out of the nation's capital without an injury.
Resting left winger Rick Nash and defenseman Marc Staal, the Rangers jumped out to an early lead on goals by rookie right winger Kevin Hayes and centers Derick Brassard and Dominic Moore and left the rest up to goaltender Henrik Lundqvist, who turned aside 22 shots.

Blues 4, Wild 2
Right winger Vladimir Tarasenko celebrated his return to the St. Louis lineup with a goal and an assist.
Tarasenko played on a line with center Jori Lehtera, who scored two goals, and left winger Alexander Steen, who picked up two assists in his first game back after missing the last six games.
- - -
Jets 5, Flames 1
Winnipeg scored four goals in the third period to beat Calgary.
The Jets (43-26-13) are headed to the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time since the franchise moved north from Atlanta in 2011.

Avalanche 3, Blackhawks 2
Right wing Jarome Iginla scored his second goal with 33 seconds left as Colorado beat the playoff-bound Blackhawks.
