Centers Mike Santorelli and Tyler Bozak scored in the shootout to give Toronto a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Detroit at Joe Louis Arena.

Chelsea legend Cech joins ice hockey team Belfast Giants on emergency loan

Right winger Phil Kessel scored in regulation for Toronto while goaltender James Reimer stopped 41 overall.

Left winger Gustav Nyquist scored for Detroit, while netminder Jimmy Howard made 18 saves. Center Pavel Datsyuk scored in the shootout for the Red Wings.

Kessel tied the game a little more than five minutes into the third period when he tipped a pass home for his 15th goal of the season.
