Feb 20 (The Sports Xchange) - The Edmonton Oilers agreed terms with left wingers Rob Klinkhammer and Ryan Hamilton on one-year contract extensions and placed forward Anton Lander on injured reserve on Friday.

Klinkhammer, 28, has spent time with the Arizona Coyotes and Pittsburgh Penguins this season, prior to being acquired by Edmonton in a trade on Jan. 2. In 47 games this season, he has eight points (four goals). He also leads the Oilers in hits, accumulating 183 this season.
Hamilton, 29, has spent time this season with the Oilers and their American Hockey League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Barons. In five games with the Oilers, he has one goal, one assist and two penalty minutes.
Lander, who had three goals in his past five games, left in the third period Wednesday against the Boston Bruins with a shoulder injury. In 22 games this season, Lander has 11 points (four goals).
The Oilers also recalled defenseman Jordan Oesterle from the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.
Oesterle, 22, has registered 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) and six penalty minutes in 49 games with the Barons.

The New York Islanders placed center Mikhail Grabovski on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.
Grabovski suffered the injury during the Islanders' victory over Nashville on Thursday. He appeared to be knocked out after he hit the ice headfirst on a hard hit from Predators left winger Eric Nystrom in the first period.
The Islanders also recalled left winger Kael Mouillierat on emergency basis from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL.
Mouillierat, 27, leads all Sound Tigers in goals (18) and points (40) through 51 games this season.

The Minnesota Wild recalled defenseman Christian Folin from the Iowa Wild of the AHL and reassigned defenseman Stu Bickel to Iowa.
Folin, 24, has collected six points (five assists) and averaged 15:02 in ice time in 29 games with Minnesota this season. He has recorded two goals and two assists in 12 games with Iowa.
Bickel, 28, has one assist and 46 penalty minutes in nine games with Minnesota this season. He has recorded eight points (six assists) and 51 penalty minutes in 23 games with Iowa.

The Detroit Red Wings recalled defenseman Jakub Kindl from his conditioning assignment.
He had played in two games with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League since being sent down Feb. 14.
Kindl, 28, has not played for Detroit since Dec. 27 because of an elbow injury. In 28 games this season, he has nine points (two goals) and 14 penalty minutes.
