The Nashville Predators recalled forward Viktor Stalberg from the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL and activated defenseman Anton Volchenkov from injured reserve.

Stalberg, 29, has four assists in 11 games with Nashville this season and 126 points (60 goals) in 324 NHL contests since 2009-10.

Volchenkov, 33, has missed the past 11 games with a lower-body injury. The blue-liner has five assists in 42 games with the Predators this season.

The Detroit Red Wings recalled goaltender Petr Mrazek from the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL.

Since he was assigned to Grand Rapids last month, Mrazek has gone 6-0-1 with a 1.13 goals-against average, .962 save percentage and three shutouts. Overall, the 23-year-old is 9-2-1 in 13 games with the Griffins this season.

Mrazek has made 20 appearances for the Red Wings this season and is 13-5-1 with a 2.55 GAA.

The Arizona Coyotes recalled forward Brendan Shinnimin on an emergency basis Monday from the Portland Pirates of the AHL.

The 24-year-old Shinnimin has recorded one assist and eight penalty minutes in 11 games with the Coyotes this season. With the Pirates, he has registered 33 points (14 goals, 19 assists) in 48 games.

The Columbus Blue Jackets added forward Luke Adam on emergency recall from the American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons.

Adam was acquired by Columbus from Buffalo in exchange for forward Jerry D'Amigo on Dec. 16 and had amassed 38 points (25 assists) and 58 penalty minutes in 58 AHL games this season.

Adam, 24, recorded 15 goals and 11 assists in 87 games with the Sabres.))
