April 11 (The Sports Xchange) - The Nashville Predators recalled defenseman Joe Piskula under emergency conditions Saturday from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Piskula, 30, played a pair of games for the Predators in 2013-14, and has suited up for 12 NHL games with Nashville, Calgary and Los Angeles since 2006-07, and has eight penalty minutes.

The Los Angeles Kings recalled forward Jordan Weal from the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL.

The 5-foot-8, 184-pound Marchessault has played in 64 games with Syracuse this season, leading the Crunch with 41 assists and 54 points.

The Boston Bruins assigned defenseman Joe Morrow to Providence of the AHL.

Morrow was with Boston on an emergency basis. He has appeared in 15 games for Boston this season.
