The Flyers announced that tests came back negative.
General manager Ron Hextall said in a statement that Laughton is progressing but wouldn't travel to Washington for Friday's Game 5.
Laughton was stretchered off the ice and taken to a hospital after Wednesday's hit.
Laughton crashed hard into the boards behind the Washington net with 3:49 left in the first period after what appeared to be incidental contact with Capitals defenseman John Carlson. Laughton was face-down on the ice for a few minutes and lay motionless as team doctor Jimmy McCrossin tended to him.

The St. Louis Blues recalled defenseman Chris Butler from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League, the team announced.
Butler, 29, has 84 points (13 goals, 71 assists) in 387 career NHL games. He was scoreless in five regular-season games with the Blues this season.

The Nashville Predators signed forward Adam Payerl to a one-year contract, the club announced.
The deal is worth $575,000 at the NHL level and $75,000 if Payerl is in the American Hockey League.
The Predators also assigned defenseman Alex Carrier to Milwaukee. The 19-year-old was Nashville's fourth-round pick in the 2015 draft.))
