Highlights of Sunday's National Hockey League games

Rick Nash and Derek Stepan each scored twice as the New York Rangers beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-2 to claim their 15th win in their last 18 games.

Nash raised his season total to 28 goals after being held without a point in his previous three games. That had followed a stretch of nine goals in 14 games.

Derrick Brassard added a goal and an assist for New York (26-13-4), who improved to 13-3-1 in the Metropolitan Division and won the season series against Pittsburgh 3-0-1.

The Penguins' goals were scored by Sidney Crosby and David Perron, with defenseman Kris Letang assisting on both.

Henrik Zetterberg had three goals and an assist as the Detroit Red Wings rallied for a 6-4 win against the Buffalo Sabres.

The Red Wings (26-11-9) trailed 3-0 after the first period and scored five consecutive goals in the second and third.

Detroit goaltender Petr Mrazek allowed three goals on seven shots before being pulled with 6:23 left in the first period. Tom McCollum replaced him and made seven saves for his first career win.

Tyler Ennis had two goals and an assist while Drew Stafford and Chris Stewart also scored for Buffalo (14-30-3).

Cody Eakin scored twice and added an assist and goalie Kari Lehtonen stopped 38 shots as the Dallas Stars (21-17-7) defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 6-3 on Sunday at the United Center.

Eakin, who came into the game with seven goals, scored the Stars' second of the game in the first period, as well as the game-winner in the third.

The win marked the Stars' first over the Blackhawks (28-15-2), this season after three straight defeats. It was also Dallas's second straight win and third in their last four games.

Winnipeg center Bryan Little scored the only goal in the shootout to lift the Jets to a 4-3 victory over the Arizona Coyotes.

Little fired a shot high over goalie Mike Smith's glove to give the Jets two points on a night when the result really should not have been in doubt.

Winnipeg led 3-1 with about 10 minutes left in the final period but Lauri Korpikoski and Tobias Rieder scored less than three minutes apart to pull Arizona level at 3-3.

Winnipeg (25-14-8) are tied with the Chicago Blackhawks for fourth spot in the conference.
