Germans Toni Eggert and Sascha Benecken can look forward to the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang with glee after being crowned World Cup champions following success in the test event.
The reigning World champions twice set a new track en route to coming home first in 1:33.581 minutes.
And there was more for Germany to celebrate as team-mates Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt were second, and Robin Geueke and David Gamm completed the podium in third.
But there was no doubting who the stars of the show were with Eggert and Benecken's eighth win of the season securing them the doubles World Cup title.
They now sit on 1040 points and with one event left have an unassailable lead over second-placed Wendl and Arlt, who have 858.
Geueke and Gamm now hold third place in the overall standings on 601 points, 12 ahead of the American pairing Matt Mortensen and Jayson Terdiman who finished seventh in PyeongChang.
