Olympic champion Natalie Geisenberger maintained her unbeaten record in the 2014/2015 World Cup season with victory in the women's singles in Konigssee on Saturday.
The 26-year-old had already claimed four victories before the turn of the year, with a hat-trick of women's singles wins as well as gold in the team relay in Lake Placid.
And while this weekend represented the first luge action of 2015, it was very much the same as the previous year when it came to results with Geisenberger taking her 28th World Cup win.
The reigning world champion was fastest over both runs to record an overall time of 1:41.411, 0.349 seconds ahead of Alex Gough of Canada.
Third place went to Dajana Eitberger, also of Germany, who took bronze in last winter's European Championships while USA's Emily Sweeney was fourth.
It leaves Geisenberger on 570 points in the overall standings, 180 ahead of teammate Tajana Huefner, who was fifth in Konigssee.
