Toni Eggert and Sascha Benecken's World Cup domination shows no signs of slowing down after taking another luge doubles victory, in Lake Placid.

The German pair set a track record of 43.372s on ther way to a dominant victory, stopping the clock fastest in both runs in the United States to ensure their place atop the podium was never in doubt.
A second effort of 43.434s helped them to a 0.634s victory over Austria's Peter Penz and Georg Fischler, who took silver despite being third after the opening run.
But a disastrous second run from Matt Mortensen and Jayson Terdiman saw them slip out of the medals completely, down from second to fifth after registering only the 16th quickest run of the round.
Bronze went to Tristan Walker and Justin Snith, of Canada, but there was no stopping Eggert and Benecken on the American ice.
The two have been a cut above in any competition in which they have partaken this season, already flying high at the top of the overall World Cup standings – with this their fourth win from four so far.
