LCR Honda's German rider broke his ankle in a practice crash at Sepang a fortnight ago.
After prompt surgery he attempted to compete in last weekend's Phillip Island event but struggled with the injury in Friday practice and was ruled out.
He underwent another assessment in Japan on Thursday and has now been passed fit.
"I have been having two physio sessions each day with the Clinica Mobile staff," said Bradl.
"I am off crutches now and the ankle is a lot better."
Bradl's chance of a top five championship result all but vanished during his absence as Cal Crutchlow pulled clear, but he is only 12 points behind new sixth-placed man Alvaro Bautista.
