NASCAR racer's tyre bursts into flames

The racing car driver had pulled into the pits with smoke pouring from his front right tyre, but the pit crew ignored the danger and changed the wheel - presumably thinking that nothing bad could possibly happen once they got the smoking wheel off the car.

They were wrong. No sooner had Bowman pulled away than his wheel caught fire in spectacular fashion, flames jetting out the side of the car.
