Eric Frenzel had the last laugh as he finally got the beating of teammate Johannes Rydzek in the third and final race to retain his Nordic Combined Seefeld Triple title.
Rydzek had come out on top in the previous two races this weekend but was beaten by his rival by a full 30.5 seconds at the final of the last 15km cross-country race.
World Champion Bernhard Gruber completed the podium in third, finishing one minute and 18 seconds behind Frenzel.
After two rounds of jumping, it was Rydzek who had maintained his lead, accumulating a total of 285.4 points from jumps of 106 and 105.5 metres to hold a 18-second head start on Austrian Gruber.
Reigning champion Frenzel meanwhile had 20 seconds to make up over the 15km race after jumps of 106 and 106.5 metres.
And that he did, closing in on Rydzek before overtaking him and sealing the win for his fourth Seefeld triple title in a row.
