Highs and lows of Kevin Sinfield

Kevin Sinfield has gone through it all in his 18 years as a professional in which he has become the fourth-highest points scorer in rugby league's history and won 40 caps for England and Great Britain.

Here Press Association Sport charts the highs and lows of his career so far:
HIGHS
:: Led Leeds to victory in the 2004 Super League Grand Final, the first of six successes at Old Trafford in nine years which made him the club's most successful captain.
:: Won the Lance Todd Trophy as man of the match in Leeds' Challenge Cup final defeat by Hull at the Millennium Stadium in 2005.
:: Appointed England captain in 2012, 12 years on from making his Great Britain debut, following the international retirement of club-mate Jamie Peacock.
:: Named the winner of the Golden Boot as the most influential player in the international game in 2012.
:: Made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2014 Birthday Honours for services to rugby league and took his family to Buckingham Palace to receive the award.
:: After experiencing five Challenge Cup final defeats in 10 years, finally got to lift the trophy after Leeds beat Castleford in the Wembley final in August 2015.
LOWS
:: Was heartbroken after being left out of the Leeds team for the 2000 Challenge Cup final at Wembley despite playing in the victorious semi-final side.
:: Was criticised for not kicking for goal after the Rhinos were awarded a penalty in the closing stages of the 2003 Challenge Cup final against Bradford which would have brought his side level. Leeds went on to lose 22-20.
:: Experienced the agony of three successive Wembley defeats as Leeds went down in all three finals from 2010-12.
:: Sent off for the only time in his career for a head butt on Castleford full-back Luke Dorn and handed a two-match ban in July 2014.
:: Missed a crucial tackle in the last minute of the World Cup semi-final as Shaun Johnson scored the match-winning try that cost England a place in the final.
