Stefan Kraft became the first jumper to claim three individual World Cup wins in Oberstdorf in one season after taking top honours from a weekend disrupted by adverse weather.

Strong winds led to the cancellation of the final event, with the Austrian eventually getting confirmation of Ski Flying World Cup victory.
And in doing so, Kraft became the first man from his country to take the individual honour since Gregor Schlierenzauer in Planica in March 2013.
His haul of 232.6 points proved enough to nudge German Andreas Wellinger back into second place, only able to take 220 points from his display, with Slovenia’s Jurij Tepes rounding off the top three.
But there was nobody who could take the plaudits away from Kraft, 23, winning his seventh individual World Cup event, also becoming first jumper to win individual Large Hill and Ski Flying World Cup in Oberstdorf in one season since Martin Schmitt in 2000/01.

Yet there was disappointment for Daniel Andre Tande as the Norweigan came in fourth place for the seventh time this season.
He remains in second place in the overall World Cup standings, with his tally of 953 more than 100 adrift of Kamil Stoch of Poland who leads the way on 1067.
Kraft’s victory sees him into third on 920, narrowly ahead of Domen Prevc on 867.
The World Cup now heads to Sapporo in Japan with jumping taking place next weekend.
