Norway win seventh leg of Ski Jumping World Cup

Norway claimed the seventh leg of the Ski Jumping World Cup in Titisee-Neustadt, seeing off the challenge of Poland and hosts Germany.

The Norwegian foursome of Daniel Andre Tande, Anders Fannemel, Robert Johansson and Johan Andre Forfang accumulated a total of 1083.6 points from their eight jumps – securing their third win of the season.
The Norwegians displayed a consistent set of jumps, highlighted by Fannemel's second jump of 141.5 metres, delivered off a speed of 90.5 kph for 89.7 points.
Poland's team, made up by Kamil Stoch, Piotr Zyla, Maciej Kot and Dawid Kubacki could only accrue 1082.8 points despite starting well, as highlighted by Stoch's first leap of 142.5 metres for 91.5 points.
Germany's Richard Freitag made the largest jump of the competition, 143.5 metres, but could only help his team into third place with 1054.7 points.
Slovenia finished fourth with 1011.5 points, Austria claimed fifth with 1010.9 points, leaving Japan to take sixth.
