Bingham shocked at PTC2

Zhuang snatched a dramatic final-frame decider over world number 10 Bingham at the Yixing Sports Centre to advance to a last-16 encounter with fellow rank outsider Jin Long.

No upsets were to be found elsewhere as Mark Williams, Matthew Stevens, Barry Hawkins, Marcus Campbell, Ben Woollaston and Stephen Lee all progressed at the expense of amateur opposition, as did home hopes Ding Junhui and Cao Yupeng.

Tom Ford defeated Ricky Walden 4-1 and Robert Milkins edged Mark Davis 4-3 in the two all-English ties, while Joe Perry overcame Welshman Jamie Jones 4-2.

Perry faces Lee, Stevens meets Campbell, Williams is up against Yupeng and Ding plays Ford in selected round four fixtures.
