Davis and Hendry qualify

Steve Davis and Steven Hendry will play in the Welsh Open after coming through their final round qualifying matches in Sheffield.

The evergreen Davis, now 54, beat world number 18 Ricky Walden 4-3 to make the line-up for the event, which starts on Monday at the Newport Centre.
Hendry will also take part in the event after he thrashed Kurt Maflin 4-0, while another former world chmapion, Ireland's Ken Doherty, is also through after beating Jamie Cope 4-2.
Up and coming Chinese star Liang Wenbo is also through after a 4-1 win over Rory McLeod.
